Dubai is set to host the 7th edition of the Dubai Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery Conference & Exhibition – Dubai Otology from 6-8 November 2019 at Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center – Dubai Healthcare City. Held under thepatronage of H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Owais, UAE Minister of Health and Prevention, Dubai Otology has established itself over the years as a major event on the global calendar and received participants and visitors from the MENASA Region, Europe and the Americas.
This year, Dubai Otology features a rich scientific agenda where a number of breakthrough technologies will be explored and several scientific lectures will be discussed by well renowned speakers, professionals and industry experts coming from all over the world.The event will also feature two workshops which are an Advance Vestibular Workshop that will focus on Balance, Hearing and Speech presented by a language specialist; in addition to a Cadaveric Workshop which will shed the light on Basic & Advance Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and Basic & Advance Temporal Bone Course (TBC). The cadaveric workshop will also offer the participants a great opportunity to have hands-ontraining with several cadavers.
The conference will discuss topics like Cholesteatoma, Mastoidectomy, & Tympanoplasty,Facial Nerve, Atresia and Microtia Management, Ossiculoplasty: Stapes Surgery, Vertigo,Hearing Loss, Eustachian Tube Surgery, Tinnitus, Skull Base Surgery, Cochlear Implant,and Implantable Hearing Aids with a special focus on the recent advancements in Skull Base Surgery, and Evidence of balloon Eustachian Tube Surgery.
